This is hour 2 of Gamespot After Hours, an event which happened last night. Apparently around 21:00 minutes in is when the DOAX2 footage starts, and there are supposed to be the English voices for the girls. I'm downloading it now, so can't form an opinion yet. You have to be a registered member of Gamespot to get the HD/High-Res version, but you only need the free membership to get the Low-Res.
Just warning you: The low-res is a slow download.

| wow...you really weren't kidding when you said it was a slow download, were you? lol. if it's any good, is there any chance you could upload it to megaupload or something so that the rest of us can see it? |

Yeah, I'll try to do that or YouTube. I've never uploaded to either of those before, but I can give it a shot. Seems like nobody across the three DOA forums I go to (doatec, doacentral, this one) has gotten it yet. Let's just hope mine doesn't crap out.

Apparently the video isn't that great, and mostly shows the guy *talking* about playing it, and he doesn't know what he's talking about. I'm at 82%, and I still want to finish the download so I can hear even a snippet of the English voices.

Finally downloaded it. It's not that great. Ayane's voice is the only one you can *really* hear, and I thought she sounded fairly decent. Kinda close to her Japanese one in terms of vocal pitch and timbre. But, since it's Gamespot, and they bashed DOAX1 so hard, and never missed an opportunity to complain about it, they're giggling through playing it.

Good find xera and thanks for the upload Lmagnuz. The voices (what little we heard) seemed ok. The review however was sh!t, the sad bastards seemed embaresed to be seen playing it, i mean guys grow the hell up they just bikini's. Plus the guy playing it was crap, i appreciate he was talking at the same time but i can play and talk/ drink at the same time and not be "that" bad and i suck at any game that isn't stratagy based.

if you've ever watched anything else he's done on gamespot, that's the way he always is. he had the same attitude while playing Dead Rising. he's just a boring person. |
